We’re a fan of keeping the lights on, even in dimly lit and darkened areas for the safety of our guests. How often have we walked around at night in a dark room or area, and bumped into furniture or items we didn’t see? This could be in a movie theater room, for example, or when walking downstairs for a glass of water at night. Having a night light is essential.
I was aiming to find a low-maintenance solution that would work consistently and look nice.
I found these lights that fit the problem I was trying to solve completely.
Just like the outdoor dusk-to-dawn lights I posted about here, these will automatically turn on when no natural light is detected.
These are perfect for bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and staircases.
I asked our handyman company to install some additional outlets in the stairways to the basement and upstairs to be able to plug these in.
The lights are always on in these areas and consume very little electricity.
These are some pictures from our Loudoun Escape property.
I put two of these lights together in staircases and other specific areas that needed more light.
I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for an easy solution for night lighting!
